Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make possible practical use of an automatic developing machine capable of using solid chemicals without complicated operations and eliminating liquid chemicals having danger in conveyance and handling by specifying the strength of tablets.
CONSTITUTION: The tablets to be used are obtained by compressing a powder or granules made of at least one kind of processing component. The strength of the tablets Z is 0.5≤Z≤3.5, preferably, 0.8≤Z≤3.0, where Z is the compression breaking strength (kg/mm of longitudinal length). The tablet is formed into a circular disk, and its diameter is, preferably, 5-50mm, especially, 7-30mm. A ratio of X/H is, preferably, 1.0-6.0, especially, 2.5-5.0, where X is the longitudinal length (mm) of the tablet and H is its thickness (mm), and the weight of the one tablet is, preferably, 0.1-30g.
