Abstract:

To provide solid soap having nearly equal strength as that of soap produced by a frame kneading method.

The solid soap is obtained by charging and compression-molding particles containing a palm kernel fatty acid sodium salt and cellulose fibers in a frame. As the particles containing the palm kernel fatty acid sodium salt, particles having particle diameters of 20-500 μm are used. As the cellulose fibers, fibers having aspect ratios of >1 and ≤49, lengths of 15-1,000 μm, and thicknesses of 10-30 μm are used. The solid soap preferably contains the cellulose fibers in an amount of 21-90 mass%.
