Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state electrolyte type fuel battery cell that can reduce the gas diffusion resistance of an air electrode, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: Since large voids 182a larger than diffusion voids 18a of an air electrode base portion 181 are formed in an air electrode convex portion 182, diffusion of oxidant gas from an oxidant gas flow passage 30 to a convex portion joint site 181a to which an air electrode convex portion 182 out of the air electrode base portion 181 is joined passes through the large voids 182a having low gas diffusion resistance. Therefore, the resistance of the gas diffusion from the oxidant gas flow passage 30 to the convex portion joint site 181a can be reduced by the large voids 182a. That is, when viewed from the overall air electrode 18, the gas diffusion resistance of the air electrode 18 can be reduced as compared with a construction that no large void 182a is formed.
