Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correct inconspicuously a defect position by adding a picture element signal before one piece the position of a white or black spot defect and the picture element before two pieces to the defect position.
CONSTITUTION: A solid-state image element 8 is driven by a pulse generating circuit 9 to obtain an output signal (a) thereof. The signal (a) is connected with the first and second sample hold circuits 17, 18, and the circuit 17 makes sample hold of the picture element before one piece to the defect position. The circuit 18 makes sample hold of the picture element before two pieces to the defect position. The output signals (c), (e) of the circuits 17, 18 are added by an adder 19.
