Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the adverse effect due to dispersion in the element characteristic of the selected path without receiving the effect of the process by giving a photoelectric conversion voltage to one of a 1st capacitors and connecting a 2nd capacitor to the other to obtain an output signal. CONSTITUTION:Only a photoelectric conversion voltage formed by a photodiode D1 appears at an output side electrode of the 1st capacitor CV1 and is fetched in the 2nd capacitor CS1. Thus, when a switch MOSFETQ29 is turned on by a horizontal scanning signal HS1, only a photoelectric conversion voltage stored in the capacitor CS1 is obtained at a terminal S1. The capacitor CV1 or the like is coupled with the source side of the MOSFETQ3 or the like and the sources form a parasitic photodiode. Thus, a smear false signal is apt to be stored therein, but the MOSFETQ23 connecting selectively to the readout capacitor CS1 or the like is turned off after the signal charge is fetched. As a result, the effect of a false signal is avoided.
