Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve resolution, by forming films which absorb or reflect light at least at some parts of the surface of an oxidized film formed in a selective oxidizing method.
CONSTITUTION: Light incident to storage parts 1a, 2a...(n-1)a, na spreads charges from photoelectric conversion places toward picture elememts by length (f) in the array direction of the storage parts at a maximum. Light absorbing or reflecting films 1d, 2d...nd, (n+1)d are formed at surface boundary areas partitioning the picture elements to reduce the quantity of light incident to the areas. Consequently, the quantity of light incident to the areas which cause a decrease in resolution is decreased.
