Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily execute the phase adjustment of a pedestal clamping pulse for executing the D.C. restoration of a video signal, by providing a dummy horizontal transfer resister to the output terminal side of a horizontal transfer register. CONSTITUTION:Between an output amplifier 7 and a horizontal transfer register 6, a dummy register 4 is provided which has bits in a number equal to or above the number of the bits to add the number of the bits of a dummy register 5 and the number of the bits to which an under-shoot is easy to occur due to a light to be leaked from a terminal periphery in an optical black part 2b. The under-shoot part to occur due to the leakage of the light from the terminal periphery of the optical black part 2b is not outputted from the output amplifier 7 and left in the horizontal dummy register 4 even if one horizontal transfer period is completed.
