Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image sensor capable of performing a binning operation in color arrangement using a white pixel.SOLUTION: A pixel PC includes a green pixel G, a red pixel R, a blue pixel B and a white pixel W. The white pixel W is disposed in a checker pattern on a pixel array 1. The green pixel G is disposed between the white pixels W in a second column and a fourth column. The red pixel R is dispose between the white pixels W in a first column. The blue pixel B is disposed between the white pixels W in a third column.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
