Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce influence of a radiation ray from a cover glass and to improve light resistance of a color filter.
CONSTITUTION: A solid-state image sensor 2 with a color filter 3 is provided in a package 1. A cover glass 4 is so provided at an upper part of the package 1 as to be opposed to the sensor 2. The glass 4 has a total concentration of U and Th of 30ppb or less, and a total concentration of Fe and Ti of 30-100ppm.
