Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of acquiring the scan position information with no separate control system for precisely controlling a motor, a process system for acquiring a position signal, or a mechanism for detecting positional information.
SOLUTION: There are provided a pixel 101 containing a plurality of pixels arrayed on a semiconductor substrate, and at least one monitor pixel 106 disposed on the semiconductor substrate away from the pixel 101 in a sub-scan direction.
