Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of improving an S/N ratio and reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device comprises: a plurality of pixels arranged over a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns; a reference signal supply unit that outputs a reference signal; and a comparator that outputs a signal depending on signals from the pixels and the reference signal. The comparator includes: a comparison circuit that includes an input terminal and an output terminal; a first switch that connects between the input terminal and the output terminal of the comparison circuit; a clamp capacitance whose one terminal is connected with the input terminal of the comparison circuit; a second switch connected with the other terminal of the clamp capacitance, and that selects any one of the signals from the pixels and the reference signal, and inputs the selected signal to the other terminal; and a clip circuit provided on an electrical path where the reference signal is inputted to the comparison circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
