Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control a laser beam in such a manner that the solidstate laser utilized for various kinds of industrial machinery and medical machinery can heat a microrange or a specified shape.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal light control element 13 is disposed between a 1st lens 7 and 2nd lens 8 of an exit end unit for condensing the laser beam. The incident laser beam to the exit end unit by having a specified spread is collimated to collimated beams of light by the 1st lens of the exit end unit. The collimated beams of light are passed through the liquid crystal light control element film and are condensed by the 2nd lens. The heating to an arbitrary shape and the heating of a very small part are enabled by this constitution.
