PURPOSE: To enhance abrasion suppressing effect, heat resistance, arc resistance and combustion resistance by employing a mold composed of 2-95wt.% of polyimide resin and 5-98wt.% of sliding filler.
CONSTITUTION: A mold composed of 5-95wt.% of polyimide resin and 5-98wt.% of sliding filler is employed as a lubricant piece 1. The polyimide resin is a polyaminobismaleimide resin composed, particularly, of a composition of a specified amic acid and a specified N,N'-bismaleimide or addition product. The sliding filler is composed of graphite, molybdenum disulfide or PTFE, for example. It is warmed at room temperature, heated and pressed in a die and then subjected to post-curing. By such method, a lubricant piece having excellent abrasion resistance, heat resistance and combustion resistance and preferably adapted on a high speed trolley wire can be obtained.
