Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject cosmetic capable of being provided in a state filled in a compact-shaped container convenient for carrying, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This solid O/W-type emulsion cosmetic is composed of water, a fatty acid soap, a higher aliphatic alcohol and a carrageenan. The carrageenan is preferably selected from κ-carrageenan and ι-carrageenan and the compounding ratio is suitably 0.3-3.0wt.%. This composition allows a high water content of 20-80wt.% and enables the achievement of the usability of clean refreshed feeling and also excellent moisture retention.
