To provide a solution draining device of a traveling wire in which the solution adhered to the wire is thoroughly removed over the entire circumference, the wire, a machine or a work shop is not stained by one only an acid or alkaline solution but also water or mist scattered therearound, and the component replacing operation is made not troublesome as much as possible.

This solution draining device comprises a cylindrical member 1 comprising upper and lower opening/closing members with the traveling wire S passing therethrough, an air feed pipe 4 connected to the upper member 2 of the cylindrical members 1, a suction pipe 5 connected to the lower member 3 of the cylindrical members 1, a blower 15 having the air feed pipe 4 connected to the exhaust side and the suction pipe 5 connected to the suction side, and a solution draining pipe 17 connected to a casing 16 of the suction pipe 5 and/or the blower 15.
