In the solution-film formation method wherein a filmy material is formed from a polymer solution yielded by dissolving a polymer in an organic solvent, then the formed filmy material is conveyed and heated by passing it through a drying region to volatile the organic solvent contained in the filmy material to obtain a polymer film, the polymer film has an elastic modulus of 150 MPa to 300 MPa, the conveyance through the drying region is performed using two or more pass rolls, and the aspect ratio X of the span of the pass rolls and the width of the filmy material is 0.9≤X≤1.6.
