Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow dopes of respective layers to arrive at a casting die in almost same timing even if the condition of a mother liquid dope used in multilayer casting is altered.
SOLUTION: The mother liquid dope 31 prepared by dissolving a polymer in a solvent is branched into a dope for a base layer and dopes for surface layers applied to a rear surface and an upper surface to be cast on a casting drum 67 from a co-casting die 56 to form a film. The average time T1 of the dope for the base layer passed through a dope flow channel 53 is 20 min. An addition liquid 57 for the surface layers is mixed with the dopes for the surface layers applied to the rear and upper surfaces and these dopes are uniformized in static mixers 65 and 66. The average time T2 of the dopes for the surface layers applied to the rear and upper surfaces passed through flow channels 63 and 64 is 25 min. The average times T1 and T2 are made almost same to shorten the stabilizing times of the respective dopes in the co-casting die 56 even if the components of the mother liquid dope 31 are altered.
