PURPOSE: To provide a soln. separating unit which separates ≥2 kinds of solns. efficiently by enclosing laminates of composite sheets of which the permeable film oscillates microwaves when applied with a high frequency voltage and porous spacers with watertight films except the film surfaces and a part of the porous spacers.
CONSTITUTION: A dielectric permeable film 1 which is hydrophobic to alcohols and is repellent to water and a water permeable and conductive sheet 2 are adhered tightly to make a composite sheet A. Such sheets A, A are laminated on both sides of a porous spacers 3, and a part 30 of the spacer 30 is projected for the purpose of removing separated liquid. The parts except the surface of the film 1 and the part 30 are sealed with water tight films 4 whereby a soln. separating unit is constituted. When a high frequency voltage is applied to the films 1, 1 from an electric power source E, the films repeat charging and discharging and increase the charging and discharging frequency thereof to 103W105 times the frequency of the high frequency power source. As a result, microwave oscillations are generated in the surfaces of the films 1, 1, and only the ethanol from, for example, the aq. ethanol soln. in contact with the surfaces of the films 1, 1 is permeated through the films 1, 1 and is removed and separated from the parts 30.
