To obtain a solvent based cleansing agent useful for cleaning of magnetic heads or the like, manifesting excellent cleaning properties to denatured solids caused by imparting heat and pressure to processing oils, and adhesion or burning stain to metal surfaces by including an organic solvent soluble amine and organic solvents.
This composition includes (A) an organic solvent (for example, normal paraffin or isoparaffin of carbon number ≥9 having high flash point) and (B) an amine dissolving in the component (A) {for example, a compound of the formula [R1 is an 8 to 20C (un)saturated hydrocarbon; R2 and R3 are each H or a 1 to 20C (un)saturatedhydrocarbon or polyoxyalkylene], and if necessary, further (C) an oil soluble surfactant (for example, polyoxyalkylene alkylethers). The cleansing agent includes 0.05 to 10 wt.%. of the component (B) and 0.005 to 10% of the component (C) based on the whole cleansing agent.
