Abstract:

To provide a solvent for binder resins, which enables a resin solution for paste to be produced easily, which solution does neither create dry spots nor produce dry residues when dried but has the viscosity suitable for forming a thin film.

The solvent for binder resins is one of the isoprene derivatives shown by general formula (1) (wherein R and R' are each independently hydrogen or 1-4C acyl).
