To provide a soot blower capable of surely discharging drain accumulated in each pipe of the soot blower.
In the soot blower having a double tube structure, wherein a lance pipe 2 is arranged movably on the outside of a feed pipe 1, vapor supplied to the feed pipe 1 is introduced to the lance pipe 2, and by blowing vapor to a heat transfer tube of a boiler from a nozzle 2a at the tip of the lance pipe to remove fly ash adhering to the heat transfer tube. In the soot blower, a drain discharging pipe 6 is arranged inside the feed pipe 1, and the tip 6a of the drain discharging pipe 6 is connected to the lower area of the lance pipe 2 while the base end 6b is connected to the outside the feed pipe 1, when the nozzle 2a at the tip of the feed pipe is positioned in the vicinity of a boiler outside wall B1 inside the boiler B for warming the soot blower and discharging drain inside it.
