Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorter capable of efficiently sorting mixed refuse comprising soil, sand, stones, plastic bags, PET bottles, empty cans, wood or the like.
SOLUTION: This sorter 1 is equipped with a roller conveyor 2 obliquely arranged so that the front side in the feed direction thereof is turned upwardly. The roller conveyor 2 is equipped with a large number of rollers 5 arranged at a constant interval in the feed direction and the respective rollers 5 are constituted of the rotary plates 52 coaxially attached to a rotary shaft 51 at a constant interval. The contour shapes of the rotary plates 52 are set so that the depth of troughs between the rotary plates 52 adjacently arranged in the feed direction fluctuates accompanied by rotation. Further, the trough parts formed to the outer peripheries of the rotary plates 52 are regulated by the inclined surfaces going outwardly in a radial direction accompanied by rotation. Since a phenomenon such that empty cans, PET bottles or the like are stagnated between the rotary plates 52 or fed together with sheets or the like can be prevented, sorting operation can be efficiently performed.
