Abstract:
To provide, in a technology to sort target fine particles in a channel, a technology to control the timing at which the sorting is performed in order to improve particle sorting performance.SOLUTION: In a sorting method for sorting particles circulating in a channel, there is provided a sorting control device having a sorting control unit that adjusts parameters for determining a sorting condition based on at least one of information on a target purity and information on a target yield of target particles in acquired particles. There is provided a particle sorting device that sorts particles circulating in a channel, the particle sorting device having: a light detection unit that detects optical information obtained from a sample liquid; a sorting unit that sorts particles from the sample liquid based on the detected optical information; and a sorting control unit that adjusts parameters for determining a sorting condition based on at least one of information on a target purity and information on a target yield of target particles in acquired particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
