Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently sort articles by using units in a small number in accordance with a processing capability.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of carts 2 are arranged on a running path 1 which has been previously laid so as to be circulated along a predetermined course, and accordingly, they can run thereon. Further, a supply part 4, and a pay-out part 5 are arranged along the path 1. Instructions for running and shifting articles are delivered to each of the carts in accordance with data for articles to be shifted for every cart, and accordingly, the articles are sorted. With this arrangement, efficient working can be carried out even though the device is compacted and simplified.
