Abstract:
To provide a distributor adapted to enhance the degree of freedom for distribution of articles outputted from an assortment conveyor and prevent the lowering of efficiency in makeup work or damages to objects under transport.SOLUTION: A distributor 30, for distributing when delivering an article onto an output passage the article to be delivered in a width direction of the output passage, has a plurality of rotation rollers that are arranged between the transport passage and the output passage and include a first rotation roller that one end positioned upstream on the transport passage out of both ends in a direction of a rotation axis lies distant from the transport passage greater than the opposite other end and the rotation axis arranged inclined in direction to a delivery direction of the article, an elevation unit that raises and lowers the plurality of rotation rollers between a first position lower at apexes of both end faces of each rotation roller than a transport surface of the article in the transport passage and a second position higher at the apexes of both end faces of the rotation roller than the transport surface, and a control unit that controls the operation of the plurality of rotation rollers and the elevation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
