Abstract:
To provide a sorting device which can reliably extrude even an object to be sorted, which is soft and to which a calyx is attached, to an outer side of an open hole of a sorting drum by a simple drive mechanism.SOLUTION: In a sorting device 1, a sorting drum 2 comprises a pair of rings 8, and sorting frames 7a, 7b which are attached onto an outer periphery of the rings over one round in a bridging form, and a feed roll brush 10 comprises a pair of flanges 16, and an interlocking wheel 15 which contacts inner peripheral walls 8b of the pair of rings 8 to interlock rotation by frictional force. A length of a brush hair bundle 17 of the feed roll brush is a length at a position substantially same as that of an outside surface 7s of the sorting frame or a projecting length. The brush hair bundles are located at substantially equal intervals in a circumferential direction and a lengthwise direction as an outside surface that goes around the feed roll brush. The brush hair bundle having an area, that is equivalent to at least one of hair tips of the brush hair bundles, appears in a sorting hole in the circumferential direction of the sorting drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
