Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure the effective use of a transfer means, and reduce a burden on a worker for the transfer of a vessel to a pallet by selecting the transfer means for delivery to the pallet according to the number of vessels assorted for a destination.
CONSTITUTION: The destination of assorted articles in vessels 1 delivered to a sorting work section S is discriminated. When the assorted number for the destination is equal to or above a reference value, the vessels 1 are carried to a large quantity conveyor 5, and the vessels 1 of a stack number corresponding to the assorted number are automatically transferred from the conveyor 5 to pallets 3 with a palletizer 54. On the other hand, when the assorted number is less than the reference value, the vessels 1 are transferred to a small quantity conveyor 6. The vessels 1 are further transferred to the pallets 3 after housed by a worker in empty vessels or the like by a number corresponding, for example, to a small quantity to be assorted and shown on an indicator, and then transferred to the pallets 3 for delivery to the destination.
