To provide a sorting system, capable of automating sorting goods by the unit of container using a case so as to save space and achieve low cost.

Received goods cases 11 containing food that is likely to have a load collapse are sorted to two lines of a first route and a second route. One is an assorting facility 21 for the received goods cases 11 from which food is sorted to sorting cases 29 by the unit of store and passage number, and the sorting case 29 is carried to an automatic warehouse facility 22. The other received goods cases 11 are directly carried to the automatic warehouse facility 22. The received goods cases 11 and the sorting cases 29 are stacked in stages to be stored in an object storage part (sectional containing space) in an automatic warehouse by the unit of store and passage number. In the automatic warehouse facility 22, therefore, sorting is executed by the unit of store and passage number for storage.
