Abstract:

To provide a sound absorbing structure plate which can realize excellent lightweight, strength, rigidity, heat resistance and water resistance without lamination of a porous sheet material such as a urethane foam sheet, a nonwoven fabric, or a woven fabric and has high sound absorbency in a suitable thickness.

The sound absorbing structure plate is a hollow structure plate comprising an air-impermeable sheet laminated onto the obverse and reverse sides of a core material, produced by welding two thermoplastic resin sheets with a plurality of protruded hollow convexes to each other in such a state that the hollow convexes in one sheet are abutted against the hollow convexes in the other sheet. Small holes open between the hollow convexes on at least one side of the obverse and reverse sides of the hollow structure plate are formed.
