PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of storing all multiple sound guide data in a device so as to miniaturize the device by receiving and recording sound data from a radio transmitter installed at a specified place when a person who carries a unit passes through a specified area.
CONSTITUTION: Sound data on an exhibit exhibited in an exhibition room A is always radio-originated in the sound data reception area 7 of the exhibition room A. The person who carries the unit can automatically receive sound data on the exhibit exhibited in the exhibition room A by moving in the sound data reception area 7 of the exhibition room A. He can similarly and automatically receive sound data on the exhibit exhibited in exhibition rooms B and D by moving the sound data reception area 8 of the exhibition rooms A/B/D. Namely, RAM is used for the storage medium of sound data, and sound data which are collected into several minimums are received. Thus, the capacity of a sound memory incorporated in the device can be miniaturized.
