Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve conveniences for the rear rider's operation of a sound device for the remote control of a sound condition available from the device on a motorcycle by mounting a remote control box so as to be freely detachable and exposed outward at box retaining part formed near a rear seat. CONSTITUTION:A remote control base 7 as an operation box retainer is bolt fixed to the front left side of a trunk body 3b comprising a travel trunk 3 installed on the rear upper part of a motorcycle body for stowing cargoes. The remote control base 7 is provided with a recess 7d for mounting a box and a remote control box 11 is housed therein. Also, the remote control box 11 is stably held with the coupling of a retaining hook 7e and a pin 9 with upper and lower retaining recesses 11g and 11h. The remote control box 11 is fitted with buttons for remote control such as a mute button 11a, turning buttons 11b and 11c, a tuning and running selector switch 11d and a talk switch 11e.
