Abstract:
To provide an educational toy musical instrument designed to be easily played even by children, and developed to make a sound-emitting toy having an image of a shape of an animal and animation by simple work of just sawing a piece of wood with a jigsaw, the toy being used with it held in hand and hit with fingers.SOLUTION: A sound-emitting educational toy is formed by shaping a piece of wood into a size that can be grasped with a hand, and an external shape of an animal or a character of an animation. A shape such as a circle, heart shape, or oval shape is selected and sequentially sown with the jigsaw, from a hitting part through a repulsion part to form a cavity of reflecting sound, then an elastic part and to return to the hitting part, so as to complete the product. A sound-emitting mechanism is determined by use of elastic force of the wood, the size and hardness of the hitting part and a sense of clearance between the cavity reflecting the sound and the hitting part. Since the sense of clearance changes depending on humidity, the educational toy includes adjustment plate attached thereto, thereby to constantly emit the sound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
