Abstract:
To provide an area muffling technique capable of suppressing only a specific area in a sound field in an audible range.SOLUTION: A sound field generation device 1 includes a generation unit 11 that generates a plurality of carrier signals having the same or different frequencies, a modulation unit 12 that modulates the plurality of carrier signals with audible sound signals to be controlled, respectively, and a plurality of reproduction unit portions 14a to 14g that transmit a plurality of modulated ultrasonic waves corresponding to the plurality of modulated carrier signals, and the modulation unit 12 modulates at least two of the plurality of carrier signals so as to generate two audible sound signals having the same frequency and amplitude and opposite phases to each other in the sound field at the same position generated by some modulated ultrasonic waves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
