PURPOSE: To attain sound field reproduction changing continuously in real time without generating noise by using two signal processing means and switching the signal outputted from the one signal processing means to the signal outputted from the other signal processing means smoothly.
CONSTITUTION: After an output signal of a 2nd signal processing means whose processing procedure is changed is made stable in a state without any noise, a system control means 4 gives a switching command to a signal switching means 3. The signal switching means 3 reduces a signal outputted from a 1st signal processing means 1 gradually and increases gradually the signal outputted from the 2nd signal processing means 2 representing the next sound field and adds both the signals and only the output of the 2nd signal processing means 2 representing the last sound field is outputted thereby switching the signal smoothly in this way. The operation above is applied alternately to the 1st and 2nd signal processing means 1, 2 every time the sound field is changed. Thus, the sound field is changed continuously without switching noise in real time.
