Sound generation device 1 for a vehicle is attached to a rotating hub shell 30 of a wheel of a bicycle or the like through an installation portion 4 provided on one end thereof. A bell sound generation portion 3 is swingably hooked on a hook portion 5 through a connection portion 6 extending integrally with the installation portion 4. When the sound generation device 1 for vehicle rotates along with the hub shell 30 about the hub shell 30, the bell sound generation portion 3 generates a lively bell sound that is not much irritating to the ear so as to inform the pedestrians and the like of approaching of the vehicle. The bell sound generation portion 3 includes a bell 14 hooked on a first ring 19 and a bell 15 that is hooked on a second ring 20 hooked on the first ring.
