Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a laminate glass interlayer which shows high sound- insulating properties, impact resistance, transparency and long-term bonding stability in a wide range of service temperatures.
CONSTITUTION: The interlayer is, made of a copolymer of styrene or its derivative with a (meth)acrylic ester and having a glass transition temperature of -20 to 40°C and a melt initiation temperature in the range of 50-100°C.
