Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expedite maintenance work by fixing a pressing member, removable from a trimlike frame body and able to hold a sound insulating thin plate between a frame body and the pressing member along the edge part of the thin plate, rigidly to one edge part of the thin plate fittable into the frame body.
SOLUTION: A sound insulating wall W is constituted by fitting in a plurality of sound insulating plates P in a vertically stacked state between a plurality of sound insulating plate fitting supports 1 made of H-shape steel and erected in the mutually opposed attitude of adjacent groove parts M, along the longitudinal direction of a road. Trim-like pressing members 4 removable from trimlike frame bodies 3 and able to hold a sound insulating thin plate 2 between the frame bodies 3 and the pressing members 4 along the edge part of the thin plate 2 are provided, and the pressing member 4 is rigidly fixed to one edge part of the thin plate 2. The thin plate can thereby be fitted/removed in association with only fitting and removing the pressing member to and from the frame body, so that processes associated with fitting/removing work are reduced, and maintenance work efficiency can be improved.
