To provide a sound-insulation curtain which has adequate flexibility as a curtain and provides excellent usability as a curtain while having a laminated structure of a porous material and another material, has excellent sound absorbency, secures sound-insulating performance through the curtain, and is capable of suppressing the arrival of unwanted sounds.
A sound-absorbing core 13 formed by laminating porous sheets and films 12 is covered by a cover body 14 and sewn to be integrated. Meanwhile, even after being integrally laminated, adjacently laminated layers are not excessively restrained in places other than sewn areas, and accordingly displacement and deformation between layers caused by sound pressure can be tolerated. Sound absorption effects are appropriately produced by each layer, which tolerates such displacement and deformation, while reliably maintaining integrity in a handling state. Thus, the ability to absorb sounds is secured as the entire curtain, noise to pass through the curtain is efficiently attenuated, the transmission of noise is suppressed, and the arrival of noise through the curtain can be surely prevented.
