To provide an improved sound-insulation holding member applied when forming a sound-insulation partition wall, a sound-insulation floor board and the like, and a method for manufacturing the same, so as to improve conventional problems relating to the sound-insulation partition wall, the sound-insulation floor board and the like in a building.
A sound-insulation holding member includes: a base that is formed orthogonally to a section-to-be-held such as a sound-insulation partition wall and a sound-insulation floor board; a supporting portion that is perpendicularly elongated from both sides of the base; and a sound insulation portion that is formed in the central portion of the base and that has a plurality of sound insulation openings disposed on both sides of a swelling portion formed in the same direction as the supporting portion. The sound-insulation holding member maintains holding strength while securing sound insulation performance of the section-to-be-held at a level equal to or higher than a standard level. The sound-insulation holding member can be inexpensively and rapidly manufactured by decreasing in thickness.
