Abstract:
To provide a method for predicting a noise insulation performance which can reduce the calculation cost of predicting the sound shield performance of a wall used for building and can also guarantee the accuracy of prediction.SOLUTION: The present invention includes the steps of: calculating the sound pressure of a sound source room by a mode development technique (step S4); calculating a wall surface vibration speed distribution on a sound reception room side on the basis of sound pressure of the sound source pressure by a finite element technique, a finite differential time region technique, or a boundary element technique (step S5); and calculating an amplitude in the direction of a wall surface according to each unique mode on the basis of the wall surface vibration rate distribution by the mode development technique (step S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
