Abstract:
To provide a sound isolating part for an automobile having a sound absorbing performance and a manufacturing method therefor using conventional waste paper.
This sound isolating part for the automobile is formed by shredded waste paper and a binder component and has air bubbles inside it. In this manufacturing method for the sound isolating part of the automobile, crushed waste paper is dispersed into water, the binder component and foaming agent are charged into them in this order for mixing, they are stirred to generate air bubbles, and they are dehydrated, dried, and molded to obtain a molded product having an arbitrary shape.
