PURPOSE: To obtain a simple sound momentary-break interpolating receiver by storing signals obtained by sampling and coding sound signals with delay, and by interpolating sound signals in a momentary break by signals delayed and stored when the momentary break of an input signal is detected.
CONSTITUTION: A received signal inputted to terminal 1 is demodulated by amplifying demodulation circuit 11 into sound signal A, which is inputted to A/D converter 12 for sampling and decoding. This signal is supplied to both switch 14 and delay memory circuit 13, and a signal from switch 14 is decoded by D/A converter 16 into the sound signal, which is outputted to terminal 2. Now, if a momentary break occurs, momentary break detection circuit 15 detects it and then outputs detection signal B to circuit 13 and switch 14. On receiving signal B, circuit 13 outputs sequentially the stored signals at period Ts from a signal before N sampling period NTs and repeats this operation after outputting signals N times, thereby interpolating the break period. Simultaneously, switch 14 is put on the circuit 13 side on receiving signal B and outputs signals through converter 16. Therefore, noises generated in break period are suppressed.
