PURPOSE: To enable the inspection of sounds of a plurality of electronic clinical thermometers simultaneously without being affected by noises or the like by discriminating a signal component alone with a specified frequency among electrical signals converted with the collection of the sounds.
CONSTITUTION: When electronic clinical thermometers 2 are held in a row with a holder 3, the presence of the holder 3 is detected separately with a sensor 4b and a setting signal is outputted to FFs 73 and 74 through a signal line 7b to make both the FFs ready. On the other hand, after a specified time, the temperature of a temperature inspecting section 2a sticking out into a specified temperature area of a thermostatic cell 1 approaches the temperature of the thermostatic cell 1 and become table almost at the same temperature. An interrupted sound with a center frequency of about 4kHz is emitted from a buzzer 2b. The interrupted sound is fetched by a sound pressure sensor 4a to be converted into an electrical signal and outputted to a band amplifier 61 through a signal line 7a. The amplifier 61 performs an amplification centered on a signal of 4kHz and noises or the like except for the clinic thermometer 2 are attenuated to output a signal S in acceptance and a signal Sb in rejection or the like to a vibration detector 62. An output 62 passes through a comparator 63, the FFs 73 and 74 and the like and an acceptance signal SOK alone is outputted from an AND circuit 75.
