To provide a sound receiver which has a contact part of a bone-conductive actuator pressed to a contact object surface of a human body with a constant and proper pressing force, gives a user a fixed signal transmission level independently of individual differences of the contact object surface of the user and his or her movements during use and further gives the user a feeling of satisfaction when using the sound receiver.
A holding member 20 for holding an actuator 10 has: a first contact part 21 which brings the actuator 10 into contact with a human body; a second contact part 22 which is formed like a projection in a position spaced from the contact part 21; and a turning support part 23 provided between the first contact part 21 and the second contact part 22. In the turning support part 23, the holding member 20 is supported freely turnably around an axis perpendicular to a plane including the contact parts 21 and 22 and turning support part 23. The holding member 20 is supported by the front end of an arm member 30 in the turning support part 23, and the other end of the arm member 30 is supported by a support body 41, and the holding member 20 is pressed to the contact object surface of the human body by elastic energization through the arm member 30.
