Title:
SOUND SIGNAL DISCRIMINATION DEVICE AND AUDIO DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3793245
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reliably discriminate a sound signal from a music signal.
CONSTITUTION: A sound signal discrimination device has an input terminal 1 for audio signal reception and an output terminal 5 generating a probability indication signal Vp showing a probability that an audio signal received in the input terminal 1 is the sound signal. An analysis circuit 2 generating an analysis signal showing a ratio between signal power in the first part of the frequency spectrum of the reception signal and signal power in the second part of the frequency spectrum, a signal pattern detector 3 detecting a signal pattern whose generation probability in the sound signal differs from that of a generation probability in the other signal different from the sound signal and an evaluation means 4 generating a probability indication signal in accordance with the detection of the signal patterns are provided.
