The sound source position detection system 10 detecting a position of a sound source includes two directivity receivers 11A, 11B, a database 16 that registers in advance relational data, a time difference calculation means 13 that calculates a difference between sound reception times, a time difference position calculation means 17 that detects the position of sound source on the basis of the time difference and the relational data, an azimuth position calculation means 19 that detects the position of sound source on the basis of the arrival azimuth of sound, and an overall discrimination means 20 that fuses the detected sound source positions to detect a final sound source position.
