Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the output of synthetic sound whose level is large.
CONSTITUTION: Whether or not the level of sound signals synthesized based on a linear predictive coefficient by a linear prediction device 11 exceeds a prescribed threshold value is detected in a detector 12 and control signals are outputted to a suppression device 13 when the level exceeds the prescribed threshold value. When the control signals from the detector 12 are received, the suppression device 13 stops the output of the sound signals supplied from the linear prediction device 11.
