Title:
SOUND TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING OPTICAL SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3213723
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a receiver to freely select a volume in accordance with his taste and to realize a better reception environment by equipping two or more light receivers which receive an optical sound signal and generate a reception signal and a receiver having a sound reproducing means which reproduces sound by the reception signal from the light receiver.
SOLUTION: In a modulation part 14, modulation is performed for transmitting an electric sound signal reproduced by a sound source part 11 as a light sound signal 15. The light sound signal 15 is received by plural receivers 19 which constitute a reception part 18. The receiver 19 preferably has a structure of a normal headphone which a receiver can wear. The recoader 19 has a sound reproducing means for reproducing the sound in accordance with this electric signal, after the light sound signal 15 received is converted into an electric signal by the light receiver formed from, for example, a photodiode or the like. This receiver 19, that is, a sound reproducing circuit for the headphone, can use a receiver of a cordless headphone system which is normally used and is on the market.
