Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a sound wave communication device for performing sound wave communication with a mobile terminal to receive a sound wave signal from a mobile terminal that has a speaker at a different position without using a lot of microphones.SOLUTION: A sound wave communication device 2 comprises a pickup coil 24 instead of a microphone usually used for receiving a sound wave signal transmitted by a mobile terminal 4, and detects (receives) leakage magnetic flux from a speaker 18 of the mobile terminal 4 as a sound wave signal via the pickup coil 24. Consequently, even if the position of the speaker 18 of the mobile terminal 4 differs by its model, the sound wave signal transmitted by the mobile terminal 4 can be received by placing the mobile terminal 4 on a support base 6.
