Abstract:
To provide soundproof equipment and a soundproof method, which enable more effective soundproofing and vibration-proofing, which can enhance operability and workability, and which can reduce weight and costs.
A pair of soundproof walls is installed in a tunnel; and the inside of a space, which is surrounded by the pair of soundproof walls, and the internal wall surface and bottom surface of the tunnel, is put into a vacuum state. This restrains sounds and vibrations in the tunnel from being transmitted to the outside through air and the soundproof wall itself.
